Travis T-Bone Turner, host of Michael Waddell’s Bone Collector on the Outdoor Channel, is winding down his successful 2009 hunting season. He has 3 to 4 hunts left and looks forward to spending his off time with his family.

The commitment that T-Bone exibits to the hunting industry is phenomenal. T-Bone had a 6 week stretch in October and November where he only spent 3 full days at home. It’s not often talked about, but the sacrifice that T-Bone (and others like him) make to earn a living as a pro hunter is substantial.

The time spent in the woods and away from family is a necessary evil, but that doesn’t make it any less difficult. T-Bone’s drive and passion to bring the hunt to the viewers’ living rooms is truly inspiring.
